Mr. Dachniwsky  will present an update on recent developments in Texas oil and gas law, including Texas Supreme Court opinions on the issues of retained acreage clauses, offset well requirements, and floating vs. fixed royalty interests. 

Chris Dachniwsky is a member of Thompson & Knight’s Trial and Oil, Gas, and Energy Practice groups who focuses his practice on oil and gas litigation. His experience includes contract disputes, royalty litigation, and lease termination and title suits.  Chris also represents clients in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters, including applications of the Texas Anti-SLAPP statute.
