DFW-ALTA Scholarship

2008 Scholarship Committee:

Funding:

 

2007:  DFW-ALTA Board to establish a “Scholarship Program Account” (money market etc) and transfer $2500.00 out of the 2007 budget to start DFW-ALTA Scholarship Program. 

 

2008:  From luncheons, seminars, fundraisers and the membership drive, deposit 10% of net profit into “Scholarship Account” to support its program for 2009.

 

2009: We should have our “feet wet” and can begin thinking about a dedicated event for the scholarship program, along with our 10% net profits.  Since we have a spring seminar established, this might be the time to start thinking about a fall event in which 100% proceeds would go into the Scholarship Program.

 

Certainly donations would be welcome
